Hear a story from one of our team members:
Aleesha Murawski, RN, BSN, OCN, Patient Care Manager
Aleesha Murawski has worked with some of the most advanced names in the cancer-care industry as an Oncology Nurse. Lakeland Regional Health, however, is where she felt most nurtured as a person and as a professional.
“It started with the nurse I interviewed with. The way she spoke about the system and the people she worked with really intrigued me.”
That nurse leader’s words ended up ringing true for Ms. Murawski, a Patient Care Manager who supervises 95 team members in the Oncology unit at our award-winning Medical Center. “I feel like I leave my family at home to come to my work family. You spend a lot of time together. Working in oncology, we’re our own amazing support system here. I love this group of people, and that compassionate environment trickles down to the patient.”
One thing that impresses Ms. Murawski is the longevity among clinicians at Lakeland Regional Health.
“The majority of people here have been here for years and years and that speaks volumes. The leadership genuinely cares about patients and genuinely cares about their staff.”
